Our Mission
Canc3rPress is a free, Christ-centered 12-week fitness and support program for cancer survivors, caregivers, and oncology clinicians. We desire to support, encourage, and strengthen individuals affected by cancer by treating the whole person—spirit, soul, body—in that order. We create a safe and caring space for people to meet with Christ, the Source of Hope, to connect with others, and to rebuild balance, mobility, strength, and endurance. Our team of armorbearers and change agents of hope are led by Michele Godmere, a fellow cancer survivor and exercise oncology instructor.

The meaning of the press
1
Press & Persevere
Through spiritual and physical
hardship, the athlete grows to rely upon the Spirit and His Strength to face and overcome the trial.
2
Crushed & Yielded
The athlete is crushed under the Press to release what is not of God,
then yielded to God to be filled
with the Oil of the Holy Spirit.
3
Equipped to Overcome
The Spirit equips this new overcomer to comfort others,
bring light into difficult places, and become a change agent of hope.
Run to the Press.

The athlete must run to the Press. The Press represents perseverance through trial, surrender to God, and transformation through the strength and power of the Holy Spirit. The athlete pushes the weight from the shoulders upward to Christ through the Press—persevering, or “pressing,” through the trial.
